Silver moved up by Rs 219 to Rs 57,191 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday on pick-up in spot demand due to the ongoing marriage season.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March rose by Rs 219, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 57,191 per kg, with a business turnover of 15,500 lots.
